Dr. Tracey Jones is an approved practitioner through the Department of Health to certify patients to participate in the Pennsylvania Medical Marijuana Program.

Medical Marijuana Evaluations: Things to Know

PLEASE READ:

You must be a Pennsylvania resident. 

Dr. Jones’ primary role is that of an evaluator of the appropriateness of adding medical marijuana (MMJ) to your wellness plan. She will not provide prescriptions for medications. It is therefore preferred that you are working with another wellness team member (e.g., primary care provider, therapist, psychiatrist) for collaboration purposes.

You will be asked to complete an authorization to allow for collaboration between Dr. Jones and members of your wellness team.

MMJ evaluations through PsychPhilly cannot be covered by health insurance plans.

Appointment Types

Evaluation for Medical Marijuana: first-time appointment for those interested in adding medical marijuana to their wellness plan (60 minutes)

Medical Marijuana (MMJ) follow-up Appointments: for patients who saw Dr. Jones for a Medical Marijuana Evaluation approximately 12 months earlier. Be sure to schedule an MMJ follow-up annually in order to renew your MMJ card in Pennsylvania. (30 minutes)
